Q: Will Racehorse Strength Equi-Block test positive?
A: NO! Equi-Block will absolutely not test positive under any
conditions.
Q: How is it that Racehorse Strength Equi-Block speeds up the
recovery process so fast?
A: Pain hinders the recovery from an injury by restricting the
range of motion. For example: The frog of a horse's hoof pumps blood, if
the hoof is not getting its full pressure (by the horse favoring it) the
circulation of that limb is decreased and the healing properties of good
circulation is taken away. Equi-Block increases your horse's range of
motion by eliminating the pain which increases the circulation, reduces
the swelling and allows your animal better rest.
Q: If my horse has just bowed a tendon, or pulled a suspensory
ligament, can I continue training if I use Racehorse Strength Equi-Block?
A: If it is an old injury that is "set" but which
still causes some pain for the horse, Equi-Block can be used to alleviate
this type of pain. However, as in all sports injuries, if your horse has
just sustained or is recovering from a soft tissue injury, DO NOT keep
your horse in training or racing with the use of Equi-Block. Rest and ice
are still the best remedies. Not only does this show compassion for the
horse, but it will also prolong your animal's racing or performing career
if allowed sufficient recovery time for the injury to heal properly. All
too often horses are put back on a rigorous training schedule before the
injury is healed enough to make a successful comeback. Again, if you have
any concerns about the healing time of any injury, consult your
Veterinarian.
EQUI-BLOCK DT
FORMULA: Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between Racehorse Strength Equi-Block
and Equi-Block DT Formula?
A: Equi-Block DT Formula is a secondary treatment to Racehorse
Strength Equi-Block. It was formulated as a cost effective daily treatment
for horses with chronic everyday pain in hard to block areas like hoofs,
stifles, whirlbones and hocks that require more Equi-Block gel.
Q: My brood mare is having a difficult time carrying all the
extra weight and I know she is uncomfortable, what can I do to help?
A: Simple, use the same program used for the treatment of
chronic pain. Continue to use at least two to three weeks after foaling.
Q: Should the hair be clipped before applying Equi-Block DT
Formula?
A: It is not necessary to clip the hair on the area you applying
Equi-Block DT unless it is excessively long. It will penetrate quite
effectively if rubbed in thoroughly.
SUPER STRENGTH
EQUI-TITE LINIMENT: Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are there any side effects with Super Strength Equi-Tite Liniment?
A: There have been no adverse side effects with Super Strength
Equi-Tite, just very tight legs!
Q: Should I apply Equi-Tite by hand or with a brush?
A: We prefer that you use your hands to apply Equi-Tite. The
reason is, we feel that a brush prevents the close contact of "hand
against tendon", which is extremely important in the daily care of
your horse's legs. Most top trainers in the world will tell you that
rubbing a horses legs are one of the best things you can do for your
horse. It not only helps to stimulate circulation and blood flow, it also
allows a regular and professional caretaker to detect even the subtlest
changes and differences in the leg. This immediate detection can often be
the difference in preventing a small problem from becoming a bigger
problem.
Q: My horse gets irritable or sour when hauled for any extended
length of time, what do you recommend?
A: It is hard work for a horse to be hauled in a "rocking
metal box". It is uncomfortable for your horse due to the lack of
circulation from standing and stressing the leg muscles and tendons.
We suggest applying a liberal amount of Super Strength Equi-Tite to the
legs one hour before the trip. This will help maintain optimal
circulation. If the haul is longer than four hours, you may want to stop
to walk your horse halfway through the trip and apply more Tite. This will
give both you and your horse a chance to "shake it out" and make
your trip more pleasant.
Q: Will Equi-Tite work on a Bowed Tendon?
A: Yes, Super Strength Equi-Tite Liniment will alleviate the
pain, inflammation and soreness associated with a "bow". The
best way to use Equi-Tite on a "bow" is to apply it liberally to
the entire tendon area, rub in thoroughly and bandage in a "plastic
wrap" or "sweat". Horses with bowed tendons should be
"iced" or "cold watered" daily and kept bandaged at
all times in between. They should also be raced, trained or worked in
Brace Bandages for extra support. Bowed tendons are difficult injuries to
come back from. It is highly recommended to rest the horse completely and
apply ice to the injury until the swelling has subsided and consult your
Veterinarian.
Q: What is the success of Equi-Tite on Suspensory or Check
Ligament problems?
A: Outstanding! Again, the inflammation and pain reducing
qualities in Equi-Tite will help reduce swelling and soreness
dramatically. As in Bowed Tendons, Equi-Tite should be "sweated"
on these types of problems as well. The "sweat" helps Equi-Tite
to penetrate deeper and increases its therapeutic results and benefits as
well as stimulating blood flow to aid in the healing and tightening of
suspensory or check ligament problems.
Q: Should I contact my Veterinarian before using your products?
A: Although it is not necessary in order to use any of our
products as recommended in the Pain Reduction Program successfully, we
strongly urge people to contact their Veterinarian if they encounter
difficulties.
