Phyto Micellar Otic Cleansing Solution

Covetrus Phyto Micellar Otic Cleansing Solution is an ideal solution for regular hygienic cleaning of the ear canal, eye contours and skin folds. Phyto Micellar Otic Cleansing Solution is a non-oily, non-irritating formula containing PS that provides excellent cleansing power for the ears, especially in removing greasy material from the ear duct. On a compress, it is ideal for cleaning eye contours. It is suitable for cleansing prior to any type of treatment. Contains phytosphingosine, a pro-ceramide to help support a healthy skin barrier.

Active Ingredient:
Phytosphingosine HCl 0.02%

Directions for Use:
  • Shake well before use
  • Ear use: Apply a few drops into the ear canal while keeping the ear flap up. Gently massage the base of the ear for a few seconds. Wipe the interior flap with cotton or gauze
  • Skin cleansing: Apply on the targeted area with a cotton or gauze and gently wipe area to cleanse and remove visible debris. Repeat as often as necessary until clean.
Recommended Uses:
  • Prior to any treatment
  • Eye contours and skin folds (avoid getting into eyes)
  • Localized seborrheic lesions
  • Regular hygiene of the ears (both sensitive and ceruminous)

5 of 5 Ear cleaning for our elderly Chihuahua April 12, 2024

As our Chihuahua is getting older, he gets more ear wax and needs ear cleaning more often.  This product works well in rinsing the outer ear to soften earwax and then he shakes his head to loosen wax, and then we wipe out ear gently with cotton balls.   Our neighbor gave us a bottle when her pooch passed away...we were getting low and didn’t want to run out.  It seems the product is also unscented and we like that too.  The bottle info indicates it can be used for other areas of the body for dogs (and cats) to clean, but we haven’t used for other than his ears.  Also, the product is a fair price.   I received the product within 3 days for standard shipping.  Ã°Å¸ËœÅ
