ALLERDERM® Spot-On is an easy-to-use topical therapy
that’s proven to help repair and restore the epidermal barrier in canine and
feline patients suffering from skin disease. ALLERDERM Spot-On
contains Skin Lipid Complex, an exclusive blend of ceramides and fatty acids
similar to those found in normal, healthy feline and canine skin.

ALLERDERM Spot-On is formulated for use in topical skin
care for dogs and cats with damaged or compromised skin. It is specifically
formulated to provide adjunctive therapy for pets with skin disease.

The outermost layer of skin, the epidermis, is often
compared to bricks-and-mortar. Skin cells are like bricks, and the lipid complex
between cells is like mortar. Lipids, which are made of cholesterol, fatty
acids and other important molecules, are the essential material of a normal skin
barrier.
Why is the epidermis so important?
The other layer of skin is critical because it defends
the body against harsh elements. It keeps water and moisture in, which
helps to prevent the skin from drying out. Most important, it keeps
allergens, irritants and pathogens out.
There's an easy way to repair damaged skin.
Allerderm Spot-on is proven to help repair and restore
the epidermis in dogs and cats suffering from skin disease. This spot-on
therapy contains Skin Lipid Complex that is practically identical to the lipids
found naturally in a pet's skin.
Directions:
The application of ALLERDERM Spot-On restores the
protective barrier function of the epidermis (skin), resulting in enhanced
hydration, and more protection. Renewed epidermal integrity helps the skin help
itself to stay healthy.
Initial Dose: One (1) pipette per week
for 4 weeks. In severe cases, two to three (2 to 3) pipettes per week may be
used, up to one pipette per day if necessary.
Maintenance Dose: To prevent relapses, and for skin and hair
coat health maintenance, one (1) pipette per month.
For best results, apply after bathing the cat or
dog when the fur is completely dry.
Avoid prolonged storage of temperature above 77o
(25oC).
