Duralactin
Feline L-lysine is for use in cats and kittens as a supplement for clinical or
latent conditions responsive to
L-lysine and MicroLactin.
Duralactin Feline L-lysine
is a highly palatable paste that cats prefer
1.64 times over the leading L-lysine product and contains:
- L-lysine
which helps maintain respiratory and ocular health, especially in cats that
are physically stressed.
-
MicroLactin, an immuno-nutritional aid, which helps to manage
chronic inflammation.
- Omega 6
and Omega 3 Fatty Acids which provide important immune system
support.
MicroLactin is an immuno-nutritional aid for the
management of chronic inflammatory and musculoskeletal conditions, skin
allergies, stomatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, ocular herpes and bladder
infections in cats.
Duralactin Feline L-lysine contains a patented dried milk protein
concentrate derived from hyper-immunized cows and is believed to help manage
long term inflammatory conditions, and can help diminish the need for steroids
or NSAIDs.
Arthritis in cats is an inflammatory condition and can
be an extremely painful condition. There is no cure for cat arthritis, so a plan
for long-term pain management is needed. Duralactin Feline L-lysine can be used alone, or
as a supplement to other treatment options. Duralactin products are all-natural and does
not interfere with the use of NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs),
corticosteroids, or other medications or supplements.
Duralactin's MicroLactin contains factors that appear to
block and inhibit body chemicals from participating in the inflammatory response
of cat arthritis. Daily use may significantly diminish the pain felt by an
arthritic or chronically ill cat.
Duralactin Feline L-lysine
is supplied in a 32.5 ml syringe. The dose is 2.5 ml (one notch on the syringe)
twice a day for cats. Kittens can be dosed at 1.25 ml or ½ notch on the syringe.
Each syringe is expected to treat one adult cat twice a day for 6.5 days. Can be
administered directly, with or without food. Each dose will deliver:

Signs of improvement will usually occur about 1 to 2
weeks after beginning the Duralactin Feline treatment. You may notice a
significant improvement in the ability to go up and down stairs, climb in and
out of the litter box, or simply moving about. Some cats will return to jumping,
running and playing as normal in a relatively short period of time.
Caution: Some cats may be
sensitive to milk proteins and/or carbohydrates. If vomiting or diarrhea
occurs, discontinue the use of Duralactin and contact your veterinarian.
