Zinc-carnosine in Gastri-Soothe combines elements of
zinc and the di-peptide l-carnosine in a chelated stable compound with
synergistic benefits. Zinc stimulates mucosal defense mechanisms and helps
promote localized tissue repair of irritated stomach lining. L-carnosine
provides antioxidant activity to protect gastric epithelial cells from
further damages such as bacterial toxins, dietary indiscretions and NSAID
use. Zinc L-carnosine helps maintain a healthy balance between the
production of gastric juices and maintenance of the stomach lining.
