KetoChlor
An
antifungal, antibacterial shampoo to be
used in the management of fungal skin
conditions and bacterial dermatitis
(pyoderma) responsive to ketoconazole and
chlorhexidine.
Uses
KetoChlor
is an antifungal and antibacterial shampoo
for use on dogs and cats of any age.
Active
Ingredients
Chlorhexidine
gluconate 2% and ketoconazole 1%.
Directions
Shake
well before use. Wet the coat with warm
water and apply sufficient shampoo to
create rich lather. Massage KetoChlor into
wet coat, lather freely. Rinse and repeat.
Allow to remain on hair for 5 to 10
minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean
water.
Frequency
of use: Initially two to three times a
week for four weeks, then reducing to once
a week, or as directed by a veterinarian.
WARNING
Keep
out of reach of children. Wash hands after
use.
CAUTION
Federal
law (USA) restricts this drug to use by or
on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
For external use only on dogs and cats.
Avoid contact with eyes or mucous
membranes. If undue skin irritation
develops or increases, discontinue use and
consult a veterinarian.
Storage
Store
at controlled room temperature of 59°-86°F.
