FOR INJ. CONCENTRATE, USP (2 mEq/mL)

Potassium Chloride injection is for the treatment of potassium deficiency states when oral replacement is not feasible.  Under the directions of a veterinarian, potassium chloride is commonly added to IV or SQ fluids when indicated.

CAUTION: Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

10 mL and 20 mL Single-dose. Discard unused portion.

INDICATIONS:

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: For I.V. use. Must be diluted to appropriate strength with water or other suitable fluid prior to administration.

COMPOSITION: Each mL of sterile aqueous solution contains: potassium chloride, 2 mEq (149 mg). May contain HCl for pH adjustment.

4 mOsmol/mL (calc).

Store between 15°C and 30°C (59°F-86°F)
