Ordering and Shipping Information

Medi-Vet Animal Health ships orders using both the United Parcel Service (UPS) as well as the United States Postal Service (USPS) in order to provide our customers with fast and convenient shipping. All orders are typically shipped the same day the order is placed, or the following business day.

Shipping Rates for Orders over $79

Weight Exceptions:

All orders weighing exceeding 5 lbs must be shipped out through UPS and will be charged at cost shipping (shipping cost based on Medi-Vets discounted UPS rates).  If only a P.O. Box address was given at the time of the order, the order will be held and you will be contacted by a customer service representative for an alternate shipping address.

Order Value Exceptions:

Orders exceeding $150 will be subject to signature required upon receipt of the package and must be shipped through UPS for delivery confirmation. It is the customers responsibility to make arrangements to be available to sign for delivery if the package values over $150.

Timing Exceptions:

All orders are typically shipped the same day the order is placed, or the following business day. Orders placed during the weekends or Holidays will be shipped the next open business day. Expedited orders will be shipped as quickly as possible, however weekend delivery is not guaranteed, unless Saturday delivery (12.50) is requested and paid for by the customer.  Orders that require refrigeration will only be shipped Mondays-Wednesdays in order to keep these items from becoming warm while in transit over the weekend due to the temperature sensitivity of the products.

Medi-Vet is not responsible for packages that are delayed due to unforeseen events beyond our control including, but not limited to, the following: the unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery of the shipment; acts of God; insufficient information provided by a customer; the application of security regulations imposed by the government, or otherwise applicable to the shipment; riots, strikes or other labor disputes; civil unrest; disruptions in air or ground transportation networks; and natural disasters.

Vaccines/Refrigerated Items Exceptions:

• Vaccines/Refrigerated items do not qualify for free shipping.
• Vaccines/Refrigerated items are temperature sensitive and must ship Next Day or Second Day Air.
• Vaccines/Refrigerated items are shipped only when the scheduled date of arrival falls on a weekday.
• Vaccines/Refrigerated items cannot be shipped outside the US because they are temperature sensitive.
• Orders are not shipped Saturday or Sunday

International Orders

We ship only to the United States, Canada, U.S. Territories and military APO addresses. Packages being shipped to Canada may be subject to a Customs or Import Duty. Once a package being shipped to Canada leaves the U.S. there will be no tracking information available except for the Custom's Declaration Number. Orders being shipped to Canada may take up to 1-2 weeks for delivery. Minimum shipping charge for above mentioned areas is $30 or at cost, depending on the weight of the order. Expedited shipping is not available on the web for these areas. If you wish to expedite an International order, please contact us by phone or email.
