DIRECTIONS FOR PREPARATION AND USE:
Weigh the kitten. Prepare enough Nurturall-C, with
the enclosed measuring scoop, for use within a 24-hour period. Kittens should be
fed at least 1/2 ounce of liquid Nurturall-C for every two ounces of body
weight, daily. Kittens should be allowed to consume as much formula as
they want. The table at the right gives minimum feeding amounts for a 24-hour
period. Mix one scoop powder into one scoop of water. Use tap or bottled water.
Stir until smooth. Pour liquid into a clean Nurturall nurser. Heat liquid by
placing bottle in a pan of tepid water. Test temperature on your wrist. It
should feel slightly warm. Do not microwave. Store Nurturall-C powder in the
refrigerator. Refrigerate any unused reconstituted liquid for up to 24
hours. After feeding, hold the kitten's head on your shoulder and rub his back
gently until he burps. Make water available after kittens are two weeks old.
Small animal water bottles are recommended.

Orphaned kittens:
If possible, kittens should nurse from their mother for the first two days of
their lives to receive nutrient rich colostrum. Mother's colostrum provides
temporary protection from numerous diseases and contains growth factors believed
to stimulate protein synthesis, improve fat utilization, and promote cell
growth. While mother's milk is always preferable, Nurturall-C contains nutrient
rich colostrum milk powder harvested at USDA inspected facilities. It is
extremely important to weigh kittens frequently (everyday) to insure they
are receiving adequate amounts of supplement. If a kitten loses weight after 48
hours, consult your veterinarian. Feed weak or small kittens every four hours;
feed at eight-hour intervals if the kitten is strong and active. Kittens' needs
will vary and the time and amount may have to be increased or decreased,
depending on the breed, growth rate and activity of the kittens. Orphan
kittens must be kept warm for proper digestion to occur. Also, use a warm,
moist washcloth and gently wipe the kitten's bottom until it wets and has a
bowel movement, several times daily, to imitate a mother's care. This is
required for young kitten survival.
Weaning kittens: Kittens may be weaned when they are about 25 days old. As soon
as they are able to lap up formula, mix equal parts of prepared Nurturall-C Milk
Replacer with a weaning cereal until a soupy mixture is produced. Place mixture
in a shallow bowl. As the kitten grows, gradually increase the portion of cereal
while decreasing the formula.
Pregnant and lactating queens: Mix one tablespoon of liquid Nurturall-C Milk
Replacer per five pounds of body weight into the pregnant queen's daily ration.
Continue until the kittens are weaned.
Supplementation: If a supplement is desired for a growing kitten, show cat,
nursing mother, geriatric or convalescing cat, simply mix one tablespoon of the
liquid per five pounds of body weight into the cat's daily ration of food
NURTURALL-C Milk Replacer is also available
in a ready to use liquid.
Product is filled by weight not volume.
Your veterinarian should be consulted for advice about
