Soft Paws Nail Caps For Cats, CLS (Cleat Lock System) is the simple solution to destructive scratching. Nail caps are easily applied to your cat's claws with a non-toxic adhesive. Soft Paws do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of claws, and most cats don't even know they have them on. They are a completely safe and humane solution to cat scratching problems.

Each Soft Paws kit contains 40 nail caps, 2 tubes of veterinary-grade adhesive, applicator tips, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit contains enough for 4 front paw applications and each application lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which make each kit last approximately 4 to 6 months.

Kitten Size (Less than 6 months old)
Soft Paws will fit most kittens by the time they reach 16 weeks of age. Some kittens can wear them as early as 12 weeks of age. To test, tray a nail cap on first without adhesive. If it looks too big, don't glue it on. The nail cap should fit snugly and not cover the cuticle. To accommodate smaller kittens, the base of the nail cap can be trimmed making it smaller.

The kitten size generally fits up to about 5 lbs and about 5 months of age.
