Vetericyn Plus Utility Gel is a one-step topical water-based hydrogel spray for the care of wounds, infections and irritations caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi or spores. For use as an aid in cleaning and debriding wounds, and the umbilical and navel and udder of animals. 

Vetericyn is steroid-free, antibiotic-free, no-rinse solution is non-toxic and speeds up the healing process. Made up of compounds similar to those produced by the animal’s own immune system, Vetericyn will not harm healthy tissue. Vetericyn Plus Utility is manufactured within an appropriate physiological pH range so it will not sting when applied. This product, in solution, kills 99.999% of bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores including E.coli, Staph (MRSA), Strep, Moraxella bovis, Pasteurella, Actinomyces, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Enterococcus and Pseudomonas.

Indications: For use as aid in cleaning the umbilical and navel of animals. Topical applications also for cleaning and healing of wounds, cuts, abrasions, sores and skin irritations.

Directions for use: Shake well before using. Adjust spray nozzle and spray. Apply Vetericyn liberally to clean and promote healing.

For umbilical cord application, coat the inside and outside of the umbilical cord with the hydrogel and massage up to the navel. Repeat if necessary or until area is dried and healed. No rinsing is necessary. 

Skin may "pinken' after application due to increased blood flow and oxygen to the application site which will help speed healing.

Do not remove or wipe off. Vetericyn Utility Gel may also act as a temporary physical barrier against dirt, flies and other contaminants. This is particular useful in treating granulating mastitis lesions, and open and draining mammary wounds and abscesses.

Use Precautions: For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation develops and contact your veterinarian. For animal use only. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage: Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not freeze.

Ingredients: Oxidized Water, Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl), Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl), and Sodium Chloride (NaCl).
