Rederox Chewable Tablets for Dogs

Dechra Rederox Chewable Tablets are beef-flavored, scored NSAID tablets formulated to control pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, as well as postoperative orthopedic and dental surgery pain in dogs.

Dosage & Administration:
  • Postoperative Orthopedic Pain: 1.4–1.8 mg/lb/day (3–4 mg/kg/day) once daily, for up to 7 days.
  • Postoperative Dental Pain: 0.45–0.91 mg/lb/day (1–2 mg/kg/day) once daily for 3 days. First dose should be given ~1 hour before dental surgery.
  • Dogs requiring less than 12.5 mg should be dosed using the 12 mg tablet, which may be split into 6 mg halves. Do not attempt accurate dosing by breaking larger tablets.
  • Administer with food when possible for optimal bioavailability. Tablets are scored; dose in half‑tablet increments and adjust to the minimum effective dose as needed.
How Supplied: Rederox (deracoxib) Chewable Tablets are available in strengths 12mg, 25mg, 75mg, or 100mg and supplied in 30 count and 90 count bottles

Important Safety Information:
  • For use in dogs only. Do not use in cats.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Possible side effects include vomiting, decreased appetite, diarrhea, and rare but serious kidney or liver issues.
  • Discontinue use and contact a veterinarian if side effects occur.
  • Avoid use with other NSAIDs or corticosteroids.
  • Not for dogs with known hypersensitivity to deracoxib.
  • Regular monitoring and accurate dosing are recommended.
